Writing Consultations for Mental Health Professionals

Write! Write! Write! Or Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway

If you have thought of writing for publication, but don't know how or where to start, or started but gave up, or have had other difficulties continuing, and you'd like some help with this, just give me a call.

Although I had published two papers before my book, publishing my first book gave me the confidence to send out more clinical papers for publication in journals, and to write a second book. I was invited to be on and then served on the editorial board of the Clinical Social Work Journal, and am a writing consultant to the New Directions writing program of the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis.

When I discovered how much I enjoyed reviewing papers and giving editorial advice, I began offering writing consultations to colleagues.
